To my nanny and grandad whom I love very much.
Grandad - you are my inspiration. Thank you for the love of literature and poetry I inherited from you, and which we discussed before you were taken from us. I wish we had more years together to enjoy this. Thank you for the impressive legacy you have left us all. You were the best example of a man, a father and a husband, and one which all of us hope to find or emulate.
Nanny - you have been my rock for many years. In my adulthood I visited you every Sunday and through some of the hardest times in my life, you were home to me. I adored you. I would always try to help you with whatever you needed, but in reality it was you who was helping me.
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
